Job Title: Sales Representative/Sales Assistant
Description:
1. The sales representative/Sales Assistant is responsible for presenting our company to potential and/or existing customers and prospects by marketing and selling products and services.
2. Develop parts programs to market to repair and refurbishment companies. Reaching business targets by focusing on effective management of time and designated territories with physical visits to customer sites on a regular basis.
3. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with new customers through cold calling, continually maintaining a professional image of the company.
4. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue by cold calling when necessary.
2. Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss payment terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
3. Build and foster a referral network to create new revenue growth opportunities.
4. Conduct sales calls per week by physical visits to customers and actively manage call schedule to cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner adequately.
5. Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
6. Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.
7. Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, and other efforts.
8. Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research.
9. Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
10. Reporting to manager weekly strategy, and opportunities that are uncovered during the sales / prospect visits.
Requirements:
1. University or college degree in Marketing, Sales Management or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
2. 2 years of direct work experience in an external IT hardware and services sales capacity.
3. Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
4. Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
5. Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
6. Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
7. Exceptional verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.
8. Strong written communication skills.
9. Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
10. Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
11. High level of integrity and work ethic. English is required. Chinese preferred.
